Directions

 You may want to visit www.mapquest.com and find Roscoe, Illinois.  www.expedia.com will also handle that task.  The streets are too new to find an address on the street via most computer programs.  You can check intersection of Route 251 and Elevator Road and then follow the directions below.  

Roscoe is a "bedroom" community serving Rockford, IL and Beloit, WI and other surrounding areas.  

For the sightseeing public:

From Chicago, take the NW tollway or I-90 to the last exit in Illinois.  (This actually takes you beyond the project but far, far less turns and twists and is only 2 miles from the project.)  Exit WEST on Rockton Road and go to Route 251.  It is 1 mile.  Route 251 is a 4 lane divided highway.  Go SOUTH on Route 251.  About a mile or so south you come to a light and interchange.  It is for Prairie Rose Drive.  Go WEST, the only way you can go, and if you stay on Prairie Rose, which bends to the right at the intersection, you will be on the east end, affectionately called the back way of the project.  Go to the clubhouse at 4711 Prairie Rose Drive.  

From Rockford go north to 251 and Prairie Rose Drive and turn left  (Prairie Rose Drive is about 1/2 mile north of Elevator/Honenagah Road).  Just before you get to Prairie Rose Drive you will see a billboard, all decked out, pointing you in the right direction.  

Or, you can turn left at Honenagah Road (the Hilander Supermarket) and go to light at entry way to Hilander.  Turn as if going into Hilander but just beyond their drive is Bluestem, which takes you west into the project.
